What to Expect

The African food revolution is underway in this country, and we are excited to showcase some of the ingredients of Ghanaian cuisine often enjoyed in our very own home here at Porth Beach Hotel.  I am chef patron here at the hotel and have been married to Ghanaian born hubby and partner Baf for almost 25 years.  I am thrilled to finally be bringing some incredible food and flavours to the restaurant table.  Come and enjoy a casual and fun filled evening with us: featuring a welcome drink, a 5-course tasting menu, and some insights into the culture and cuisine of this vibrant west African country set against the backdrop of Ghanaian Highlife from the 60’s and 70’s and a modern afro-beat playlist. Due to the nature of this Supperclub event we cannot cater for dietary requirements (the menu features meat and fish and contains nuts!)

The bar will be open all evening and dancing is welcome after the meal!  We have a limited number of tables available for this event on Saturday 1st March at 7pm.   Some food will be spicy but tempered for a European palate (and my husbands!).  Prior payment is necessary on booking.
